Catchy name and even more accurate summary of this Blogger!
I love to have a good time, to laugh out loud, to have a spotless house (even though I've let that one go) to play around with my kids (teens and young adults now) and I love the sassy, sarcastic and crazy parts of my personality...something about me you might detect if you follow me on my Creative Blog!
For my kids, they say "Have you taken your happy pills today Mom? and usually I need to be reminded...now to warn you I don't suffer from depression but my family suffers with my excessive naggy'ness and crabby'ness...not even sure if those are real words! I do have difficulty 'letting things go' so for me being creative with art and scrapbooking is a great release...it lets me forget about the rest of it...
Now onto the travel plans for 2014...now that I FINALLY got my passport renewed and picked up today! Time to celebrate as I can now leave Canada...even if it's just to cross the border (which is ten minutes from my front door) into Washington!
First up, Seattle! I know, I know...no big deal but I've got a Creative Meeting with one of the companies I work for, Close To My Heart, and I plan to head down there Wednesday and stay the night...take my time back to Canada on Thursday.
Next stop...my baby girl Marissa and I are leaving for Europe with the Yale Travel Club! March 16th is just around the corner and before you know it we'll be at YVR, checking our bags (fingers crossed we are under weight) and flying over Canada and the Atlantic...super excited. I plan to keep updating this site to our shenanigans abroad so I hope you follow along!
And then...I am foot loose and fancy free once again come June! I am heading to Norway! The birthplace of my Mother's Mother...my grandmother lived in a remote area in Norway called Fure...
So needless to say, I am doing a fair bit of travelling this year and I am looking forward to creating this online 'scrapbook'...seeing as I am journalling and saving photos to it...I think that Online Scrapbook is an appropriate name for Tavel Blogging!
